Gracias por aportar esta foto, parece que el concurso no tiene mucho éxito, los cultivadores andan liados aún con los exteriores...
Ese macho Panamá resina un poco, supongo que desprende olores, lo conserva?
Supongo que es un macho Panamá, el híbrido de CBG, no?

hola Tristan,

si es un macho Panama, el hibrido de CBG cuando se encuentra Panama con ACE. si mal no recuerdo la fecha es 2008.
no constato olores, pero vigor, pequenas ramas laterales y trichomos.
el tallo rojo es porque lo conservo en pequena maceta. el minimo para tener polen.
lo conservo para hacer algunas polinizaciones (varias sugarloaf, 2 ciskei, un bx fortuito con SL y otras variedades) con madres para hacer semillas porque he tenido thrips. he debido hacer el vacio.

yes, it's a panama male from CBG. the seeds were bought when ACE sold it. the date on the package was 2008.
i don't remember some particuliar smell but the branches stay short, he was vigourous and produces resin.
i keep it in a little container so def Npk (red stem).
i keep it but i've had a thrips invasion and the mothers plants have suffered a lot so i make some pollinisation betwen this male and the mothers i kept (some sugarloaf, 2 ciskei, an accidental backcross to panama with sugarloaf, some others strains).

Y si ha utilizado ya este macho Panamá en sus semillas, que suele aportar?
Es rápido con sus flores y suelta mucho polen?
Entonces es un macho verde, no?...no aporta colores en los cruces?

Caray nunca había visto un macho con tanta resina, para que luego digan que los machos no tienen THC!!

Que bien el concurso, me encantaría probar alguna otra cosa de CannabioGen ya que todo lo que he tenido hasta ahora es cojonudo y el colega que me recomendó este foro siempre me habla muy bien de este banco de semis y de que todos sus trabajos son muy reconocidos, encima españoles!!

i'm glad that this male interrest you Tristan,
let me tell you the full story,

i made a first polinisation between this panama male and 5 Sugarloaf ( SL Fn+1: open poll [4:5] ) in the fall of last winter.

next the last grow: ciskei and ciskei oth to cross with Panama (the last one because of thrips i couldn't start seedlings nor cuttings). but in late flowering i see one ciskei really different. When she dried i recognize easily sugarloaf perfume (so special, woody, sugary, fruity, acacia gum). So this plant come from the 1st polinisation. it's the SL x P bx. but unknow SL...

this plant is the only one i test from the Panama crosses (these tests will start next months i think).
she was much more columnar with a big baseball bat cola than SL used to be (SL is a creeper). the branches stay shorter. the flowers was big, fat with new pistils again and again (but SL too). the smell remains SL. i had botritys on it in late flowering because of hot temperature (like a ciskei oth).
I can't really compare 'cause i didn't grow panama (the male is a cut from a friend, he used it with a branchy P female to make another generation) but this (unknow) SL x P had the same shape of bud than my friend's Panama Fn+1: a fat top bud. less compact than SL, but much more fat.

to conclude:
this P male influence the shape of the plant and the shape of the flower in this cross. he seems to produce a lot of pollen (but i'm not very experienced to say that), no problem plenty of seeds .
I think it's verde because of columnar shape. no color in the offspring (i repeat i test only one female at this time so i speak of only one female). i don't know about flowering time 'cause there's a lot of fast and early caracters in SL, they could be back again.

these P crosses will be grow this winter, i'll could say more early 2012.
