Requires neon for the first weeks of flowering ???

Greetings Izaak,

Double Thai is a very tropical sativa, so you can expect lots of stretching in the first month and half of flowering (easily 2x or 3x). To avoid excessive stretching i would recommend you to keep the plants in small pots (1-3 liter) till the stretching is over. Then re pot to bigger final pot with lot of organic nutrients (worm casting, guano, good compost etc ....).

To use neon in the first weeks of flowering is a good idea to avoid excessive stretching, you can use the neon/fluorescent in the stretching, then repot and change light to HPS/MH. They love very intense light to achieve best flowering results.
